Douglas Etkin | Principal

As a principal of Etkin, Doug has been responsible for the firm's strategic planning, development and leasing activities since founding the company in 1982. In addition to being actively involved in his industry, Doug also devotes a significant amount of time supporting several major community projects and charities in a variety of leadership roles. He is an honorary trustee of the Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation and past chair of its Strategic Planning Committee. Doug is past president of the Jewish Foundation of Metropolitan Detroit and is past chairman of the Urban Land Institute Small Scale Development Council. He graduated from the University of Michigan Business School and the Wayne State University Law School.
